Our team’s efforts focus on investing in our people and providing the training and tools to increase their collective capacity through multiple projects:

Mental Health First Aid Training:

Mental health support can start with trained mental health first aid providers within our community. Our training focuses on The Pillars of Mental Health, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Neuroplasticity, The Cognitive Triangle, Trauma informed practice, responses to Trauma, PTSD, Mental health signs of concern, Mental Health First Aid Protocol, and related activities. 

Mental Health Support Groups:

Our team of providers meets weekly to share knowledge and skills, and we invite guest speakers to present their expertise on relevant topics; some of the topics already covered include The Effects of Trauma on Children, Trauma and Geriatric Neurological Conditions, The Power of Story Telling, Narrative Therapy, and more.

Music Therapy Sessions:

Our talented team of young artists provide music therapy sessions to heal the soul to families mental health providers, and displaced victims.
